Ingredients
- 250 g smooth flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp hulled hemp seeds
- 125 g cream cheese
- 50 ml milk
- 50 ml oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
Preparation
Step 1: Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a bowl, mix the smooth flour with the baking powder.
Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients
- Add the egg, milk, oil, and mix well.
Step 3: Knead the Dough
- Add the cream cheese and knead the dough by hand until smooth.
Step 4: Shape the Rolls
- Roll out the dough into a circle, several millimeters thick.
- Cut the dough into eight equal pieces and roll each piece into a roll shape.
Step 5: Prepare for Baking
- Place baking paper on a baking sheet.
- Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet.
- Whisk the egg yolk with a pinch of salt and pepper and brush it over the rolls.
- Sprinkle the rolls with hulled hemp seeds.
Step 6: Bake
- Bake in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
