Hemp Pancakes with Hemp Flour and CBD Hemp Butter recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hemp flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp hemp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder

Preparation Instructions

  1. Sift Dry Ingredients: Sift together the hemp flour, all-purpose flour, and baking powder into a large bowl to prevent lumps.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the egg and milk.

  3. Combine Mixtures: Add the egg and milk mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until just smooth.

  4. Add Hemp Butter: Stir in the melted hemp butter. *Note: If desired, add blueberries, finely diced apple, or banana bits to the batter.

  5. Prepare Cooking Surface: Grease a griddle or nonstick pan with cooking spray or a small amount of vegetable oil.

  6. Heat Pan: Heat the pan on medium for about ten minutes.

  7. Cook Pancakes: Pour batter onto the pan to form pancakes of your desired size. Cook the first side until bubbles form on top, about three minutes. Flip and cook the other side until it is also browned, about two minutes.

  8. Serve: Serve immediately with hemp butter and syrup or keep them warm in the oven until ready to serve.
