Hemp Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons hulled hemp seeds
  • 25 g hemp flour
  • 25 g hemp protein
  • 1 tablespoon CBD coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond flavoring
  • 2 tablespoons maple or agave syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 bananas (3 for batter, 1 for garnish)
  • 100 g white yogurt
  • 80 g liquid peanut butter
  • 125 g rice flour
  • 25 g coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • **Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter:

    • Mash three bananas with a fork and mix with all the liquid ingredients.
    • In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, stirring well.
    • Optionally, add cocoa, chocolate chips, or crushed nuts (such as 2 tablespoons of hemp seeds) to the batter.
  2. Bake:

    • Pour the batter into a tin lined with baking paper.
    • Slice the remaining banana and place it on top of the batter.
    • Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for 30-40 minutes.
    • To check if the bread is done, insert a skewer into the center; if it comes out clean, the bread is ready.
  3. Serve:

    • The banana bread can be enjoyed plain or decorated with peanut butter, whipped cream, and fresh fruit to taste.
