Hemp and Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Hemp brownies can be customized to your taste. In autumn, try adding apples, and in winter, consider coconut or orange peel for a seasonal twist. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cube unsalted butter
  • Hemp seed oil (as needed)

Dough:

  • Hemp seeds (to taste)
  • 1 cup hemp protein
  • 1 cup hemp flour
  • 6 tbsp hemp butter
  • 2 chocolates, melted
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup cane sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of salt

How to Make Hemp Butter

  1. Mix Butter and Hemp Oil:
    • Combine the butter with hemp oil gradually until it reaches a creamy consistency.
    • For a sweeter taste, add a couple of teaspoons of honey.

Hemp Butter from Hemp Tea

  1. Dissolve Butter:
    • Melt a cube of butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add Hemp Tea:
    • Add hemp tea and simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Strain and Store:
    • After simmering, strain the butter and store it in a container.

Dough Preparation

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Whip Butter and Eggs:
    • Beat the butter with the eggs and add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Add Extras:
    • Stir in melted chocolate, grated apples (if using), and sprinkle with hemp seeds.

Baking

  1. Bake:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Pour the dough into a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes at medium heat.
