Ingredients
- 3 to 4 yellow squashes
- 1/3 cup hemp oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1: Heat the Hemp Oil
In a large saucepan, heat the hemp oil over very low heat. Be careful not to let the oil boil.
Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the yellow squash into 1/4-inch slices and mince the garlic.
Step 3: Combine and Sauté
Add the sliced squash, minced garlic, soy sauce, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the heated hemp oil. Sauté on low heat until the squash becomes soft. Overcooking allows the squash to absorb more oil, enhancing the flavor.
Step 4: Transfer and Drain
Transfer the cooked squash to a bowl. Drain the leftover oil into a jar and store it in the fridge for the next batch. This recipe makes three servings.
