Ingredients

  • 1 kg of Unrefined Vaseline (yellow) or lard
  • 50ml of BIO hemp seed oil (extra virgin)
  • 2 packages of CBD tea (35g each)
  • 20g of marigold blossoms
  • 2 chili peppers (for a deep heating effect – ideal for muscles, joints, and pains)

Tools

  • Pot (a pot for milk is ideal)
  • Fine cloth (or a fabric handkerchief)
  • Jars or tubs with lids

Recipe for Effective Hemp Ointment

Step 1: Dissolve the Base

  • Dissolve Vaseline or lard at a temperature up to 80°C.

Step 2: Add Plant Materials

  • Add the crushed parts of the plants into the mixture. For simple infusing and straining, you can place the plants into a teabag (available at grocery stores like DM).

Step 3: Steep the Mixture

  • Let the mixture steep for two hours and then allow it to cool down.
  • Let the base for the ointment sit for 1 week in a cool, dark place.

Step 4: Repeat the Steeping Process

  • Warm the ointment up again for 2 hours to approximately 80°C and repeat the infusing process.
  • Let the ointment cool down and then let it sit for 1 month in a cool, dark place.

Step 5: Final Preparation

  • Heat the ointment one last time until it liquefies and add the hemp oil (do not warm up anymore afterward).
  • Strain the ointment through a fine cloth to remove the remnants of the solid parts of the plants.
  • Fill the warm hemp ointment into clean jars or tubs with lids.

And that’s it! For the best results, store the ointment in a dark and cool place. Use within 3 months of making. The ointment should have a greenish color and a significant hemp smell. It should not contain too many plant parts, as they could irritate the skin.
