Legality of Products
Ensuring product legality is crucial. You definitely want to offer only legal products to your customers. Many products on the market, especially the cheaper ones, are not manufactured under an OPL (narcotic and psychotropic drug license in the Czech Republic). Without this license, manufacturers are producing illegal hemp extract.
Cheap products often have no traceable origin of production, putting the seller at risk of prosecution for selling illegally produced hemp extract, classified as a category 1 drug. In contrast, CBD oils from Cannadorra are produced under an “OPL” license and are 100% legal with traceable origins. The production is regularly inspected by CAFIA (Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority) and SUKL (Czech State Institute for Drug Control), ensuring compliance and safety.
Food Supplement vs. Novel Food

Anything containing CBD isolate is considered Novel Food according to EU legislation. Selling such products without a valid Novel Food registration exposes the seller to the risk of sanctions by the SZPI.
CBD drops from Cannadorra are produced as HIGH PURIFIED HEMP DISTILLATE – hemp oil with natural CBD content. This production method does not fall under Novel Food regulations and is properly notified as a dietary supplement in the Czech Republic. These products have been repeatedly checked by CAFIA for food safety and confirmed as safe dietary supplements.
According to the European High Court decision, "A Member State may not prohibit the marketing of CBD legally produced in another Member State if it is extracted from the Cannabis Sativa plant." Food Safety – THC Content and Dosage
Ensuring food safety is paramount. Some products on the market contain up to 0.2% THC and recommend dosages that make them unsafe for consumption. Selling such products puts the seller at risk of sanctions by CAFIA for selling unsafe food.
Cannadorra’s CBD oils contain safe levels of THC and can be described as full-spectrum (with a full spectrum of cannabinoids – CBG, CBC, CBN, CBDA). Adherence to product labeling regulations is essential. No therapeutic properties or health claims can be attributed to any food supplement or food under the Food Act. Therefore, no health claims or therapeutic properties should be made on the packaging of CBD products or in the product descriptions on the e-shop.
