Hemp cakes

Hemp cake is produced when hemp seeds are pressed into oil. This is the completely oil-free part of the hemp seed. Hemp cake is a unique source of protein, with 30-35% of the oil content. It is also a source of fibre, minerals and vitamins. It is used as a feed supplement for horses and other livestock such as sheep, chickens, ducks and geese. They are suitable for animals that need to gain weight or are still developing. Depending on the pressing process, Cannadorra offers the hemp pellets in the form of cylinders (diameter 0,5-1 cm, length 1-3 cm) or flakes.
